Home / First visit

75 minutes, six stages, $95.

Opening visits cost $95 and run about 75 minutes: a thorough intake, our read in everyday language and, where it fits, your first round of needles. The full arc, minute by minute.

Arrival

The intake form reaches you by text link ahead of the day, so reception takes two minutes. Mention insurance there and June has your coverage confirmed before you sit down.

Dress in roomy sleeves and trousers that roll past the knee — our most-used points sit on the limbs, ears and scalp. Shorts and gowns wait at the clinic for forgetful days.

Your story

What aches, when it began, what eases or aggravates it, how you rest, eat and feel, and what you have already attempted. Carry a list of medications plus any recent imaging on hand.

Think conversation, not cross-examination. The telling details are usually the dull ones — the start date, and the texture of a normal day.

Pulse & tongue

We feel the pulse at each wrist, observe the tongue and palpate for reactive spots along the channels. Every check is narrated first — nothing here happens unannounced.

These readings steer point choice. They stand in for neither labs nor imaging, and we say so whenever those would reveal more.

Our read

Our sense of the situation, stated simply: what it tends to be, what generally helps, and the session count that usually follows. Questions welcome — the floor is yours.

When it reads like a physician’s matter first, we say so and send you there. Roughly one visit in twenty ends this way, and we would rather forfeit the session than miss the handoff.

Practitioner explaining findings to a patient
First treatment with fine sterile needles

0:45 · Twenty-five minutes

Opening treatment

With your consent, 10 to 20 slender sterile needles and 25 quiet minutes in a warmed, dimmed room. Most visitors doze. Then the needles slide out — barely registered — plus one habit to test at home.

Needles serve once, run hair-fine, and never travel home with you. Anything sharp at any moment earns an instant adjustment.

The path forward

A written outline with a sensible session count and the cost of each. No advance bundle needed — bundles exist and save money, but the outline stands session by session either way.

We reassess each fourth session. When the course stops helping, the course ends, stated outright.

Dress, parking, paperwork.

Dress: roomy sleeves, trousers that roll past the knee. Eat normally within a few hours — arrive neither famished nor full.

Parking: pay-and-display bays along Belmont, a bike corral by the entrance, and the 15 bus half a block off at SE Belmont & 18th.

Paperwork: an intake link arrives by text at booking and takes about ten minutes. Carry your medication list and insurance card for a benefits check.
