Head & jaw.
Band-like headaches, waking jaw soreness and clicking that comes and goes — what sits behind them and how sessions unwind them.
GB20 · Typically 4–6 visits
What it tends to involve
The pattern is familiar: a headache that gathers through the afternoon, rooted where the skull meets the neck, sometimes paired with a jaw that aches before breakfast. Nighttime clenching and daytime posture usually share the blame.
The neck muscles and the chewing muscles refer discomfort upward into the temples and behind the eyes. Sorting the jaw from the neck matters, because each answers a slightly different set of points — your first session maps which is leading.
Sessions & course
What sessions look like
Needling covers the neck, jaw and temples with slender sterile needles, including the skull-base point GB20 that headache sufferers often know by name. Sessions close with one concrete habit change, most often monitor height or a strategy for nighttime clenching.
Courses typically run four to six sessions, with a written outline from the first appointment and a reassessment at the fourth. When the picture suggests a dental or neurological matter instead, you are sent toward it rather than needled through it.
